To Show Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives in Windows 7
- Go to Control panel
- Open `Folders Options` File Icon
- Select the `View` Tab
(However this will also allow hidden drives to be shown to stop this check ` hide empty drives in the Computer folder )
- Select the dot next to Show hidden files, folders, and drives.
- Click the Apply button.
To NOT Show Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives
Select the dot next to Don’t Show hidden files, folders, and drives.
Click the Apply button.
