If, when trying to remote desktop to a terminal server you get the following message:
The remote session was disconnected because the local computer’s client access license could not be upgraded or renewed. Please contact the server administrator.
Do the following:
Click Start, point to Administrative Tools, and then click Terminal Services Configuration.
Click Server Settings, and then double-click Licensing Mode.
Change the Licensing Mode to Per User, and then click OK.
