Turn on Bookmarks bar in Safari
You can tap the bookmarks icon in the Safari toolbar to access your bookmarks,
However you can drastically cut down the number of taps it takes by turning on your Safari Bookmarks Bar permanently.
To do this:
In Settings app tap Safari,
Turn Always Show Bookmarks Bar to ON
